Welcome to the 3rd SmartProSys Symposium!

This conference is organized by the SmartProSys research initiative and is dedicated to the sustainable transformation of chemical production based on the philosophy of the green carbon circular economy. We will explore how we can efficiently transform plastic and biogenic waste into valuable molecules for new products. In addition to core aspects such as process engineering, we also plan to use social science methods to investigate the role that psychological, sociological, and political aspects play in this process. We will present the outlines of our research program and look forward to a lively exchange with the participants.
